Biography:

Dr. Bentley earned his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the California School of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his podiatric medicine and surgery residency with added credential in reconstructive, rear foot, and ankle surgery at Columbia Saint Mary's Hospital in Milwaukee, WI.

Dr. Bentley will be practicing out of the Santa Maria Way clinic and is accepting patients for
all foot and ankle related pathology. He enjoys treating a wide array of problems from common ailments, sports medicine, wound care, as well as elective and non-elective surgery of the foot and ankle.

Dr. Bentley indicated he is committed to understanding his patient's health goals with respect to their individual situations. He stated, "I believe the doctor-patient relationship is centered around trust and education. My goal is to work with my patients to find effective treatment plans to get them back to their daily lives, pain free, in a timely manner".

His hobbies include hiking, biking, fishing, and playing bass guitar.

Craig Brown, MD joins CHC as a Family Medicine physician at Paso Primary Care. Dr. Brown received his Doctorate of Medicine degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in St. George, Grenada, West Indies in 2013. He did his residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. In 2012, Dr. Brown was awarded the Arnold P. Gold Foundation Humanism in Medicine Award. In his free time he loves to travel, surf, go spear fishing, free diving, hiking and camping.

Franco J. Castrejón, OD, FAAO, received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Western University of Health Sciences.  Rotated through the Naval Medical Center San Diego, Marine Corps Recruit San Diego, Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, and the Naval Air Station North Island.  Dr. Castrejon is Ortho-K certified and has been practicing in the field of Optometry on the Central Coast for over 10 years.  Dr. Castrejon is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

Dr. Castrejon was awarded the `A Tribute to Caring` award for exemplary community service.  In his free time he enjoys playing hockey, hiking, going to the beach, and most importantly spending time with his family.

Eric Chau, DO earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 2010 and received his medical education at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri and residency training at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Richmond Hill, New York (in the borough of Queens). Queens is the most ethnically diverse urban area in the world, and it claims the highest rate of racial and ethnic variety of all populous counties in the nation. Estrella Chavez Benzaquen, MD received her Doctor of Medicine Degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela in Caracas, Venezuela. She completed her  Obstetrics and Gynecology training at Jersey City Medical Center- Newark Beth Israel Program in Jersey City, NJ.

Dr. Chavez follows her patients for their routine gynecologic care and pregnancies. She  is located at the Santa Maria Way office and delivers babies at Marian Regional Medical Center. She performs gynecology procedures at the hospital and surgery centers in town.

In his spare time he enjoys playing ice hockey, mountain biking and composing music.

Charla Morgan, DO is a Board Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist who has been a physician for 19 years. She retired from 21 years in the United States Air Force in 2017 and has been working and living in Santa Maria since 2013. She attended Cal State Fullerton for undergrad and Western University of Health Sciences for medical school. She completed her Residency in Ob/Gyn at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, MS. While in the Air Force, she spent 10 years as a Flight Surgeon and was the first female Flight Surgeon for the USAF \\\"Thunderbirds\\\". She provides full-scope Ob/Gyn to women ages 13 and above. She has expertise in high-risk Obstetrics, contraception, laparoscopy, preventative health and a broad range of other medical services. She is thrilled to be joining the CHC family and looks forward to continuing to serve the Santa Maria community.
